1. Slogan for the fiscal year

This fiscal year's club slogan is "Cheerful, Honest, and Friendly".
We hope our club will be a place where members can be "cheerful, honest, and friendly" every time they attend our meetings.

2. Play a part and enjoy the club

All members of the Rotary Club take turns in taking roles, such as director, officer, member or chair of a committee.
The first order of business for all members is to fulfill whatever the role that was given in an orderly and smooth manner so that all members can enjoy the club with comfort.
After fulfilling your duty in a smooth fashion, you are free to enjoy spending time at the club or interact with other members.

3. Our countermeasure for COVID-19 shall be flexible to suit the demand of the occasion

As COVID-19 continues to affect the lives of our members, our club maintains a strong and stable relationship with them in a sane environment.
We carry out our meetings in a safe, orderly yet still lively manner.
This special bond within our group will without a doubt be regarded as a strength.

4. Member increase

The number of our club's members for the past twenty years or so shifts between the latter half of 60 to 70, and is not showing the sign of major decrease as seen in some other clubs. However, it is not increasing either.
Our club is blessed with many attractive members and shows liveliness like no other clubs especially before regular meetings. Members are close to each other and has tight connections, which results in fewer member resignation.
Such aspects of our club suggest the potential of increasing members more.
In this time of COVID-19 crisis, when interaction between people is strictly restricted in general, or rather, because it is restricted, many people crave for the human connections.
Organizations like our club, which offers close and stable connection of people in a disease control-conscious environment where they can enoy meetings in orderly yet lively manner, will be seen with more appeal from here on.
We shall re-recognize the appeal of the Rakuhoku Rotary Club and take it as the opportunity for each of us to increase members.
